Looking Like The Right Choice For A's

The Oakland A's were excited when Michael Choice was available with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 draft, and he has shown why with his play in his first pro stint. Choice spent the regular season in short-season ball and posted a 964 OPS with seven HRs in 30 games for the AZL A's and Vancouver Canadians. He carried over a hot bat into the post-season, when he made the jump to full-season ball.

One of the few first-round draft picks to sign by the end of July, Michael Choice gained some valuable playoff experience at Vancouver and Kane County.
