On Monday, the Sacramento River Cats completed a 7-1 homestand with an impressive 9-0 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. The River Cats played well in all aspects of the game. Starter Travis Banwart limited the Sky Sox to three hits and one walk in seven innings and reliever Trystan Magnuson finished off the shutout with two impressive innings of his own.
Travis Banwart was brilliant in the start, striking out 7 in 7 shut-out innings.
Jemile Weeks had another big game with 3 hits and a steal of home.

The Sacramento River Cats are on a roll. With a team ERA of 3.59, the River Cats are second in the PCL in pitching. That pitching was on display on Monday, as the River Cats blanked the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 9-0, for their third shutout of an eight-game homestand.
