Q&A With A's 32nd-Round Pick Drew Granier

TROY, NY - Drew Granier has made it look easy during his first pro season. The University of Louisiana, Monroe alum has a 1.74 ERA in 46.2 innings for the Oakland A's two short-season affiliates. Donald Moore caught-up with the Louisiana native for a Q&A.

Drew Granier struck-out 165 batters in just two seasons at ULM and he led the team with 86 strike-outs in 86 innings this season. Granier has continued to be a strike-out pitcher as a pro. After being selected in the 32nd round by the Oakland A's this season, Granier was assigned to the Arizona Rookie League A's, where he posted a 1.57 ERA and a 35:7 K:BB ratio in 23 inings.
