Are you an aspiring sports journalist looking to build your resume? Do you love baseball? We have the internship for you. OaklandClubhouse.com is looking for writers to help cover the Oakland A's minor league system during the 2012 season. Writers will have the opportunity to interview minor league players and coaches and be published on the Scout.com/FoxSports network.

We are looking for writers in the following markets: Sacramento, Ca. to cover the Sacramento River Cats; Stockton, Ca. to cover the Stockton Ports; Phoenix, Az. to cover the A's minor league complex and the Arizona Rookie League A's; and any market with a Texas League affiliate to cover the Midland Rockhounds. Writers will be responsible for bi-weekly notebooks about the affiliate they are covering, as well as feature stories on players, Q&As with players and coaches, and some special assignments.

Internships will run from mid-April through the end of August and are unpaid. Course credit is available if your school offers it for internships. All interested candidates should e-mail a cover letter, a resume and two writing samples to oaklandclubhouse@yahoo.com.
