Dodgers Minor League Report - 10/09/12

It was the first day of the Arizona Fall League and four Dodger prospects made their debuts.

Mesa Solar Sox lost 6-5

Joc Pederson - 0 for 4
Gorman Erickson - 0 for 1
Rafael Ynoa - 2 for 4, 2B, R, 2 K's

Eric Eadington - 1 IP, 2 Hits, 2 ER, BB, 0 K's

Not a great start for the Dodgers' prospects. Joc with an 0'fer. Griff came in late and grounded out. Eadington gave up two homers. The only player with any success was Ynoa, who isn't much of a prospect.

Some bad news came out today: Ken Gurnick of reported that Yasiel Puig won't be playing in the AFL due to a staph infection. However, there's still a chance that he'll play winter ball in Puerto Rico, though that's not sure to happen. More details to come in the following weeks. Recommended Stories
