Beltre played in Tuesday's All-Star Game

Outfielder Engel Beltre appeared for the Dominican Republic in Tuesday's All-Star Game against the Venezuelan Winter League. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action in the Texas Rangers' system.

Dominican Winter League

In Tuesday's All-Star Game between the Dominican and Venezuelan winter leagues, the Dominican Republic brought home an 8-2 triumph.

Playing for the Dominican Republic, Licey's Engel Beltre saw action in left field and singled once in three at-bats.

Venezuelan Winter League

No Rangers appeared for the LVBP side in the All-Star Game.

Mexican Pacific League

No Rangers appeared in Mexico on Tuesday.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Ponce leadoff hitter and left fielder Jared Hoying went 0-for-2 but walked twice and brought home his club's only run with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly. Catcher Zach Zaneski, who batted eighth, singled once in four at-bats.

On the mound, sidearming southpaw Alexander Claudio fanned one in a scoreless eighth inning. Claudio put out the fire after Alex de la Cruz surrendered a run on two hits to start the eighth.
