Vogt Looking To Stick At Catcher With A's

Vogt was the Tampa MiLB Player of the Year in '11.

WEST SACRAMENTO - On Friday, the Oakland A's acquired catcher Stephen Vogt from the Tampa Bay Rays. Vogt had a big debut with the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats on Sunday and is hoping to establish himself as an option at the major-league level behind the plate.

When the Oakland A's traded for Stephen Vogt last week, it was a homecoming of sorts for the catcher.
