Myron Leslie takes a few groundballs at first for Double-A Midland. Leslie played third base and in the outfield last season for Stockton.

2006 draft pick Jason Fernandez throws a bullpen. Fernandez had a 3.24 ERA for Vancouver last season.

Infielder Gregorio Petit is practicing with Triple-A Sacramento. The defensive wizard is expected to start in Double-A Midland.

Catcher Anthony Recker was a Midwest League All-Star in 2006.
