Dan Meyer
started the game for Sacramento. He allowed six runs on six hits in five innings.
A rehabbing
Milton Bradley
takes a mighty cut. He went 0-3 on Saturday, but scored two runs on Sunday for the River Cats.
Second baseman
Kevin Melillo
makes the throw to first. He was back in the starting line-up on Saturday after missing a few games with a sore right wrist.
Newcomer
Jorge Piedra
connects. He was signed by the A's last week.
Outfielder
Jason Perry
connects on a two-run homer. Perry is having a strong year for the River Cats.
J.D. Closser
connects on a base-hit. Closser has been splitting time at first and behind the plate.
Shortstop
Donnie Murphy
applies the tag during a run-down. He made a number of solid defensive plays on Saturday.
Catcher
Jeremy Brown
is sporting a new look.
Daric Barton
has also joined in the fun.
Barton played third on Saturday. He is seeing time at first and third this season.
Dee Brown
follows through on a swing. He has provided veteran leadership to the River Cats since joining the team in May.
Reliever
Brad Ziegler
threw two innings on Saturday.
This season, Ziegler is employing a new sidearm throwing motion for the first time in his career.
