Kirk Saarloos is back in the fold.

The Oakland A's announced that they had reached an agreement with a familiar name on Tuesday. We also have updates on the A's players participating in the winter leagues.

A's Bring Back Saarloos After dropping many familiar names this off-season, the A's have brought one back into the fold. Pitcher Kirk Saarloos, who played for the A's in 2004-2006, was signed to a minor league contract for the 2008 season. The right-hander was dealt to the Cincinnati Reds before the 2007 season.
