Dustin Moseley got the start for Salt Lake in a rehab assignment. Moseley was roughed up for three runs in the first inning and five runs in 4.1 innings of work.

Carlos Gonzalez takes a big swing and just misses in the first inning. He would single later in the at-bat and come around to score. Gonzalez scored twice in the game and made a diving catch in center.
Jeff Baisley extended Moseley's first inning pain, driving-in two runs with a two-out single.
Salt Lake's

Gary Patchett attempts to throw-out Eric Chavez from his knees in the fifth inning. Chavez was safe on the play with a single that opened a big inning for the River Cats. Chavez went 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI on Sunday.
After Chavez's single,
Travis Buck popped out and
Kevin Melillo walked. At that point, Daniel Austen relieved Dustin Moseley with two-on and one-out. Austen allowed both runners to score and two more of his own to cross the plate.
One of the River Cats' four runs in the fifth inning was unearned. Jeff Baisley hit a groundball to the pitcher with the bases-loaded. Austen threw the ball home for the force-out and then catcher
Bobby Wilson threw to first to try to complete the double-play...
...Wilson's throw hit Baisley and bounced high over first baseman Kendry Morales' head and into foul territory. One run scored on the play and two more runs scored on a Brooks Conrad single later in the inning.
Gio Gonzalez was outstanding in his start on Sunday. In six innings, he allowed one run on four hits and two walks. He struck-out nine and earned his first win of the season.
The Bees turn two on a
Todd Linden grounder. Linden went 2-4 with two runs scored in the game.
Rehabbing Oakland A's reliever
Kiko Calero came-in for Gonzalez in the seventh inning. He retired the first five batters he faced before allowing a hit and a walk at the end of his outing. Calero worked 1.2 scoreless innings and he struck-out two.
Kevin Melillo connects for a single. He went 1-3 with a walk as the River Cats' number three hitter.
Jeff Baisley welcomed O'Day into the game with a homerun to start the eighth. Baisley drove home three runs in the game and raised his average to .285.
Ryan Wing came into the game with two-on in the eighth and struck-out
Freddy Sandoval. He then worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning to close out the game.
The River Cats celebrated their 26th win of the season and their third straight win over Salt Lake. Sacramento won the series over the Bees, who entered the series with only eight losses on the season.
