In his first full season as a member of the Oakland A's organization, right-hander Clayton Mortensen is having a break-through season. Mortensen has already won 10 games at the All-Star break and he has a 3.57 ERA and 80 strike-outs in 106 innings for Triple-A Sacramento. Mortensen also struck-out seven and allowed three earned runs in six innings in his only major league start this season.
