Last season, the Oakland A’s had only three minor leaguers reach the 20-homer plateau, Tom Everidge, Jason Perry and Jose Pineda. With Perry and Pineda no longer in the organization, it appeared that the A’s might have a power shortage in their system in 2008. That has turned out not to be the case. Less than 40 games into the year, there are a number of A’s minor leaguers on pace to hit 20 homers
