Despite having his first poor outing May 2, Ziegler still sports a 3.25 ERA through five starts. The Southwest Missouri State alumnus has had an unusual path to Midland, one that has included a stop in Schaumburg of the independent Northern League. Along the way, he has won a strikeout crown and helped his teams capture two minor league championships. We caught up with Ziegler at the start of the Midland home-stand.
