Coming out of Alvernia College, Anthony Recker was not much of a known commodity when he was selected in the 18th round of the 2005 draft by the Oakland A’s. Since that time, however, Recker has established himself as one of the A’s top catching prospects. He had an uneven 2007 season, but still hit a career-high 17 homeruns. We spoke to Recker from his first major league spring training camp.
