| Biography: |
A Chicago native, Hubbard was drafted by the Houston Astros in 1986 amateur draft. He made his major league debut on July 7, 1994. A lifetime .257 major league hitter in 10 major league seasons, 2004 was Hubbard's second season with the Iowa Cubs. He hit .330 with 9 HR and 49 RBI to win Cubs Most Valuable Player honors for the year.
