Hocking made his major league debut in 1993 with the Minnesota Twins... Hit .257 in first full major league season in 1997 with the Twins. Hocking spent 11 seasons with the Twins, and most of 2004 with the Colorado Rockies. He is a career .250 hitter in 931 major league games... Batted .288 in 39 games with the Iowa Cubs.
