| Biography: |
| Was named State Player of the Year in Louisianna his senior year of high school at E.D. White High in Thibodaux, LA. Was drafted in the third round of the 2001 draft by the White Sox, but elected to go to LSU instead. Named Second Team All-SEC and Second Team All-Louisianna in 2003, then topped that by being named 'Hitter of the Year' by the Louisianna State Writers Association in 2004. Was taken by the Diamondbacks in the 2nd round of the 2004 draft and was placed at Hi A Lancaster. |
