Acquired:
Selected in the fourth round by the A's in the June 2002 draft.
2004 Highlights:
* Had an excellent season in Midland (AA), hitting .280 with 15 homeruns and 32 doubles.
* Joined Sacramento (AAA) in the final month and helped the RiverCats win the PCL Championship.
* Hit .347 with 10 RBI in 14 games for the RiverCats.
* Played a little firstbase in addition to catching.
* Still working on throwing out baserunners behind the plate.
Career Highlights:
* Hit .309 in 82 games for Kane County (low A) in 2003.
* Struggled in Midland in 2003 after mid-season promotion, hitting only .240.
*Hit .383 in his senior season at Cal.
