Acquired:
Acquired by the Oakland A's from the Cleveland Indians for infielder Marshall McDougall in July 2002. Re-signed as a free agent by the A's in January 2004 to a two-year deal.
2004 Highlights:
* Lefty specialist dominated lefthanded hitters again in 2004, limiting them to a .200 BAA.
* Struggled with righthanders, as they hit him at a .314 clip.
* Appeared in 67 games, pitching 44 innings.
* Averaged 8.18 K:9.
* Had only 34 walks in 176 innings pitched.
* Finished the season 1-1 with a 3.68 ERA.
Career Highlights:
* Had a 3.25 ERA in his first full season with Oakland in 2003.
* Posted a 3.10 ERA in 25 games for Oakland in 2002 after being traded from Cleveland.
* Had best season in 2001 when he appeared in 67 games for Cleveland and posted a .283 ERA.
* Pitched three scoreless innings for the A's against Minnesota in the 2002 ALDS.
