Acquired:
Acquired by the Oakland A's in a trade with the Toronto Blue Jays in November 2003.
2004 Highlights:
* Struggled in his first season with Oakland after injuring his ribs in April and playing hurt for much of the season.
* Had seven homeruns and 31 runs batted in over an 83-game span.
* Walked 35 times against 47 strikeouts.
* Had a walk-off homerun against the Chicago White Sox in June.
* Hit .357 and .333 respectively in September and October.
Career Highlights:
* Hit .291 with an .889 OPS for Minnesota in 2002.
* Appeared in a career-high 137 games with Minnesota and Toronto in 2003.
