2004 Highlights:
* Made 27 starts for Modesto.
* Struggled much of the year with his velocity.
* Went 8-11 with a 4.65 ERA.

Career Highlights:
* Only threw 11.1 innings in his first professional season after a heavy college workload.
* Went 13-1 with a 1.83 ERA, five complete games and three shutouts for University of Houston in 2002.
* Semifinalist for 2003 Rotary Smith Award, given to the top NCAA Division I player of the year.
