| Biography: |
Ryan Glynn was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 4th Round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft out of the Virginia Military Institute. He was acquired by Oakland in a trade with Toronto on May 15, 2005 for cash considerations.
The 29-year-old has spent ten seasons in the minor leagues and parts of four seasons in the major leagues, and came to the Toronto organization after he was signed to a minor league deal on June 6, 2004.
Glynn, a three pitch pitcher, has a decent fastball that has some late movement against righties, his main weakness is pitching to left-hand batters, and has been working on a cutter to try to give him an edge against lefties.
Glynn has a 9-16 career record in 256 major leagues innings, and a 63-53 record in 1092 minor league innings. |
