Head is the only three-time All-American in University of Mississippi baseball history ... As a junior in 2005, he hit .331 (90-for-272) with 16 doubles,
18 homers and 68 RBI -- and also went 7-3 with a 2.54 ERA and eight saves. ... His 26 career saves are a school record. ... As a freshman in 2003, hit .337 with six homers and 44 RBI in 58 games. Also was 4-1 with a 1.40 ERA and 13 saves in 13 chances. ... Converted 13-of-13 ... Hit .346 with 13 homers and 53 RBI in 60 games as a sophomore in 2004, when he also went 6-3 with a 2.82 ERA and five saves. ... Member of the 2003 USA National Team that compiled a 27-2 record. ...
