2005 Highlights:
* Had one of the most disappointing seasons of any A's player.
* Expected to be one of the mainstays of the A's bullpen, he spent much of the year in mop-up duty and was later demoted to AAA.
* Struck out 34 in 33.2 major league innings, but struggled with walks (22) and hits (38).
* Finished 0-3 with a 7.44 ERA and a 1.84 WHIP in 28 appearances for Oakland.
* Pitched much better in AAA as a starter.
* Went 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA in 13 starts.
* Struck out 90 batters in 75 AAA innings.
