2005 Highlights:

* Struggled in his first season in the American League.
* Hit a career-low .271 and didn't hit a homerun for the first time in his career.
* Posted a career-low OPS at 666.
* Played in a 150 games.
* Walked 50 times against 39 strike outs.
* Was involved in two memorable game-ending plays: one in Texas when he dove head-first to tag out Michael Young at the plate to give the A's the win and the second when he scored from third when Angels' pitcher Frankie Rodriguez muffed a return throw from the catcher.
* Hit .324 with a 782 OPS in September and went 3-9 in two October games.
