| The 15th overall pick in the 2004 draft by the Diamondbacks Drew started his Diamondbacks career more than a year later at Lancaster where he hit nearly .400 before being moved up to Double-A Tennessee. Drew appeared to have an opportunity to make the opening day roster after an injury to Craig Counsell, but instead will start the '06 campaign in Triple-A Tucson. Expect a relatively short stay. |
