| Right up until the last day of camp it was a coin toss whether the final spot in the bullpen would go to young Greg Aquino or veteran Kevin Jarvis. Aquino won the battle, but Jarvis, who has been in the league of and on since 1994 after being taken by the Reds in the 21st round of the '91 draft, knows enough to know that the war is far from over. Brought in to provide insurance and versatility Jarvis will be a spot starter/long reliever for both the Sidewinders and the D'Backs during the season. |
