| Biography: |
| Junior right-hander is expected to be one of the top starting pitchers on the team this year. Has been a key member of the pitching staff at Stanford since the beginning of his freshman campaign. In 2005, went 2-5 to go with a stellar 2.93 ERA in 55 innings primarily as a reliever. Began last season out of the bullpen before becoming the #2 starter during the final month. As a sophomore, finished 5-5 with a 3.99 ERA spanning 65 1/3 innings. A strikeout pitcher, Gallagher owns a high 80's fastball to go with a devastating curve ball that's tough on both righties and lefties. The most experienced pitcher of the staff entering 2007. Has a chance to be a top-five round draft pick this June with a big junior season. |
