| Though Jackson's '06 was certainly not the superstar-in-the-making season many hoped for, his .291 average, and .368 on-base-percentage was stellar, and Jackson will look to build on those numbers in '07. Of particular note to D'Backs faithful will be the power numbers (Jackson hit only 15 homers in '06), seemingly the one area where Jackson has actually 'disappointed.' Rumors continue to quietly circulate that the D'Backs might elect to trade Jackson and open up first base for one of their seemingly endless outfield prospects who have more power and/or a left handed bat. |
