Batted .301 with Class-A Sarasota and .253 with Class-A Daytona, respectively, in 2004 ... Promoted to Chicago on July 7, 2005 after batting .342 for Double-A West Tenn in 78 games ... Later sent to Triple-A Iowa and was 12-for-34 (.353) in nine games ... Re-called from Iowa on Aug. 30 ... Had six home runs and 11 RBI in first 40 games with Chicago ... Batted .297 in 144 games with Chicago in first full major league season in 2006 ... batted .281 in 94 games with Chicago in 2007, and .331 in 39 games with Class AAA Iowa. |
