Oakland A's Spring Q&A: Todd Steverson

Steverson is returning to Sacramento.

Todd Steverson has worn a lot of hats since joining the Oakland A's organization. He has served as a manager, a role in which he found consistent success. He was also the A's first-base coach and outfield defense coach for the past two seasons. In 2011, Steverson will be returning to his roots as the hitting coach for Triple-A Sacramento. We spoke to Steverson last week about his newest role.

When Todd Steverson joined the Oakland A's organization from the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004, it was as a hitting coach for short-season Vancouver. The next year, Steverson was named the manager of the High-A Stockton Ports and he continued to manage in the A's organization through the 2008 season.
