TROY, NY - Vermont Lake Monsters' reliever Ryan Hughes is a hard man to miss. The son of former NFL lineman Ernie Hughes looks more like he would suit up for the Golden State Warriors than the Oakland A's. Hughes stands 6'7'' and weighs 245 and is an intimidating presence on the mound. Donald Moore caught-up with the A's 2010 16th-round pick last weekend for a Q&A.
