Familiar Faces In New Places In Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO - With several players on the roster playing the same positions, it has been a challenge all season for Sacramento River Cats' manager Darren Bush to spread out playing time. That challenge has gotten even greater, as the Oakland A's have asked several of their prospects playing in Sacramento to gain experience at new positions, including 2009 first-round pick Grant Green.

Early in the season, the Sacramento River Cats were loaded with outfielders and had a hard time getting the necessary at-bats for some of the club's most talented players.
