Williams Building Up The Shoulder

Williams will resume baseball activities in Nov.

Mason Williams was in the midst of another stellar season, hitting a combined .298 with a career-high eleven home runs between low-A Charleston and high-A Tampa, when a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder cut his year short. He is down at the minor league complex rehabbing the shoulder and he says he's set to resume baseball activities soon.

"I feel like I did well this season," Williams said. "It's definitely heart breaking getting hurt late in the season and I definitely wanted to stay and complete my first full season, but that didn't happen. I'm here though trying to fix my shoulder and get it stronger for next season." He was blistering hot in the Florida State League too when he went down with the injury, hitting .38...
