Refsnyder Ends On High Note

TAMPA, FL - The in-season numbers would suggest Tampa second baseman Rob Refsnyder had an up and down first full season. He had his fair share of rough stretches, including batting just .212 in the month of May and .213 in July. However, he also had months where he was blistering hot, including his final month of the season that saw him finish hitting .337 in the month of August.

"Pretty good honestly, really good actually," Refsnyder said of his final few weeks. "[I] honestly I haven't been doing anything differently. "The only times like I kind of fall into those rough stretches I've maybe expanded my zone a little bit, but other than that, no it's pretty consistent. I'm a pretty boring guy, day to day."
