Alcantara Protected From Rule 5

Raul Alcantara is a member of the 40-man roster.

On the deadline to protect players from being selected in the Rule 5 draft, the Oakland A's added pitching prospect Raul Alcantara to their 40-man roster. Alcantara is the youngest member of the A's 40-man roster. His addition brings the roster to 39. Several other A's prospects will be eligible for the Rule 5 draft.
