The start of a baseball season brings promise, and hope for a championship. For the Vancouver Canadians, or at least their manager Rick Magnante, another milestone was about to be made, ahead of the C's opening series against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

Vancouver manager Rick Magnante went into the season just one win away from breaking Dennis Rogers' record for most wins as a C's manager. Magnante would get that win on Wednesday night, after losing in the season opener on Tuesday.
