Smith is in need of a healthy season.

In 2006, the Oakland A's selected catcher Jake Smith in the 21st round of the amateur draft out of East Carolina. Since that time, Smith has shown that he can hit at the professional level, but he has been hampered by a shoulder injury. Will this be the year that Smith breaks through?
